First - I have well-rounded experience! Prior to being a DJ I played in bands plus taught dance and guitar.
I had been a banquet supervisor for Hilton Hotels. I attended a party where the DJ didn't show up, so I offered my help and band equipment. A few months later I decided to pursue being a full time DJ in 1986.

Second - Why should you hire Jeff Oliver and not someone else? My Response: Passion. That's the difference. I have the passion. Passion is the driving force in any chosen arena of endeavor in which one strives for excellence. Other than you, no one cares more about the success of your event more than me. This is a "Labor of love" & "An Art" to me. My attention to detail is unsurpassed. And, I offer more than any DJ out there. AND - from the very first phone call, you'll have the satisfaction of knowing I am scheduled to personally entertain your event.

Third - I consult with you to discuss your preferences, itinerary, and options. We'll talk about the ambiance you want to create and my specific roll in making that happen. I'll take the time to guide you through the process of building a script or itinerary. My plan of action becomes very clear when you fill out the DJ entertainment form. You'll easily understand how to have control of my energy, presentation style, music selection and my role in coordination. Fourth - Imagine a sophisticated host from a fancy hotel taking care of details and timing during your event. Well that's what I do". You can relax and enjoy yourself. I'll host, facilitate and announce everything on your behalf.

Fifth - I do much more than just play music. It's natural for me to be flexible in style, AND, If you're looking for spontaneity, or something more interactive, we'll discuss the possible use of props, ice breakers, sophisticated lighting or even dance lessons at your event.

Sixth - When it's time to dance I draw from many years of experience as a dance teacher and musician. I have an extensive knowledge of music and how it affects people. I don't play songs hoping people will dance. I play songs that make people dance. I like to draw out the best part of people's personalities, and deliver an interactive atmosphere that entices people to be involved in the fun. I fill the dance floor each and every time.

Seventh - I've invested in myself to deliver more to you! Invested in over $65,000.00 in just DJ equipment. Invested in over $30,000.00 in Music Collections. Invested $40,000.00 in a company van dedicated to the use of the business. Plus ~ spending one to two days per week - since 1986 - getting better at delivering more to my clients.

Eighth - I offer optional Services too! Basically I'm the most flexible DJ in the industry.
- Elaborate props and costumes. Some guests become stars of the event for 3-5 minutes. (If requested)
- Games and icebreakers (If request - you can choose from 80 different items).
- Dance Lessons (If requested)
- Wedding Ceremony Music Sampler & the ability to record the ceremony live. The CD is a gift to you.
